Program Management and Execution
· Own all aspects of program success, serving as the single point of accountability from quotation through launch, production, and EOP.
· Develop and maintain detailed program timing plans, ensuring alignment with customer milestones and internal objectives.
· Lead cross-functional teams to ensure all program deliverables are met on time, within budget, and according to quality standards.
· Be actively present on the shop floor during program launches, working alongside production teams to troubleshoot issues, ensure smooth ramp-up, and support critical launch activities.
· Identify, track, and resolve program risks and issues, escalating as necessary to ensure program success.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
· Serve as the primary point of contact for customers on all program-related matters, ensuring clear communication and alignment on program goals.
· Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution.
· Provide regular program updates to the Director of Program Management and other key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement and Reporting
· Monitor program performance using established KPIs, and proactively implement corrective actions as needed.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program management function, utilizing best practices and lessons learned from previous programs.
· Prepare and present program status reports, highlighting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Team Collaboration and Development
· Work closely with other Program Managers to share best practices and drive consistency in program management processes across the organization.
· Contributes to the development of a high-performing program management team by mentoring junior team members and sharing industry knowledge.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of program management experience in the automotive industry.
· Proven track record of managing complex automotive programs from start to finish, including hands-on involvement during launches.
· Strong understanding of OEM and Tier 1 supplier relationships.
· Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
· PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
· Lead and manage all plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and safety.
· Monitor production metrics and KPIs to meet operational goals related to output, efficiency, scrap, downtime, and on-time delivery.
· Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business, Operations Management or related field.
· Minimum 5–7 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Proven experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.
· Strong knowledge of production planning, cost control, and supply chain coordination.
· Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and develop high-performing teams.
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.
Financial Accounting and Reporting
· Maintain accurate general ledger entries and assist in month-end closings.
· Process and reconcile intercompany transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
Inventory and Fixed Assets Management
· Oversee inventory accounting, including inventory counts, reconciliation, and adjustments.
· Track fixed asset additions, disposals, and depreciation schedules.
· Collaborate with supply chain and production teams to improve inventory management practices.
Accounts Payable Posting
· Review and process vendor invoices related to plant operations, ensuring appropriate GL account coding and cost center allocation.
· Ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers in alignment with company payment terms and cash flow planning.
· Review and reconcile company credit card transactions monthly, ensuring proper documentation, expense classification, and compliance with policy.
· Resolve discrepancies with vendors and liaise with internal departments to clarify invoice-related issues.
Compliance and Internal Controls
· Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP/IFRS, and applicable local regulations.
· Maintain documentation for external reviews and participate in preparation of reviews.
· Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard plant assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Other Duties
· Review and process approval workflows in OA system, including Purchase Requisition, Supplier Application Form, etc.
· Support other finance and administrative tasks as assigned.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and financial transparency.
· Language Proficiency: Fluent in both written and verbal English to effectively communicate with team members. Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong preference for experience in a manufacturing environment.
· Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP highly preferred).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and complex formulas.
· Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
· Teamwork and Adaptability: Open to feedback and collaborative ideas from across the organization to drive continuous improvement.
· Ownership and Initiative: Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility, taking proactive steps to identify and solve problems effectively.
